In their choreography, the dancers of Ballett Graz are connected by invisible lines that are constantly broken, only to form new connections in turn. There is an electrifying energy, as if you were watching atoms and molecules move more or less violently depending on the temperature, sometimes explosively, sometimes introspectively. Just like such particles, the dancers are connected by a magnetic force that is difficult to break out of. And yet they are constantly trying. For the choreographers, it is about a deliberate theatricality, which is emphasized by minimalist lighting and a purist stage design. This is achieved through a form of expressivity in which muscular effort and physicality are strongly in focus. The resulting plasticity of the group, from which duets and solos constantly emerge organically and smoothly, unfolds its full hypnotic effect in its intensity, drawing the audience into a maelstrom in which a sense of time and orientation disappear.
