Drifting Out – the title alludes to the climate crisis and species extinction – set to the music of Henryk Górecki’s Symphony of Sorrows , was created in 2022 for the Bern Ballet in Switzerland. In this work, Ansa and Bacovich explore the strained relationship between humanity and nature. The problem of human-induced climate change can only be solved through collective action – a theme that finds its expression in the choreography.
